Trying to catch cloud streets forming

 It was a beautiful day in the hills today. There were amazing views back across the Solway plain. If you look at the photographs, you can see cumulus cloud beginning to form over Scotland. The land there will be hot enough to start convection. I posted about cloud streets last week, This time the cloud streets were beginning to take shape heading inland from there. So why no cumulus over Cumbria today? Further observations of conditions needed. If you look carefully at the second picture, you can see Wigton!
